I knew I'd love this band when I first saw the name. being completely upfront this  release was the first I had ever heard of ZOAX, but much like their name their music is fun and makes a strong impression. when I first listened to the record I had a feeling I had heard something similar before, but couldn't quite put my finger on it...then it hit me! they sound SIMILAR to The Ongoing Concept! now I am nowhere near saying it feels like a rip off or they copied a damn thing. ZOAX is all their own. that's more of a happy comparison or a "FFO" deal...this record makes me happy, feels fun, has a dancey groove that you could head bang the day away to. do NOT sleep on this
