It seems that the singles are pretty representative of the album as a whole. Not bad music, but the passion is missing here. Tim just sounds kind of tired.

Interesting to use the first 4 tracks as singles

Better than The Black Market but still not their best. By no means bad though, these guys can't make a bad album

why do people rip CDs in 192kbps? Either way, still excited to check this out

Most people don't know how to rip an album properly.

Anyway, glad this leaked already, hopefully there will be a flac once i'm home :D

Okay guys, I'm gonna say it, it's better than The Black Market for me, because there is a spark of return to roots at least, it's not breathtaking, it's not something, that gives you goosebumps...BUT, it's solid return, qualitywise it's great, lyrically political and some screams are there, so all things considered, they didn't dissapoint me :) Rating 3,75/5

:Strongly recommended Tracks:

Wolves

Miracle

Far from Perfect

How Many Walls

Megaphone

Politics of Love

:Less recommended tracks:

Parts per Million

Welcome to the Breakdown

Broadcast(Signal)Frequency

The Violation

:Okay tracks:

House On Fire

now this is the rise against that i love. most of the songs have a harder edge to them and are fast paced songs. really enjoyed both the bonus tracks bullshit and welcome to the breakdown. this is also most def better then the black market and prolly their best work since either appeal to reason or endgame. i really enjoyed end game but nothing will beat their earlier work the suffer and the witness is by far their best album imo

In all fairness tired is pretty much how everyone feels about the current political state of the world.

Having an RA tattoo on my ribs, I've been waiting a long time to hear an album like this. The last few have been okay, but on first listen this one is probably the best things they've put out in 10 years since Suffer and the Witness. Hopefully the next one goes back to Revs Per Min or Siren Song.

Singles left me really disappointed, but after the black market i wasnt expecting anything special or just slightly similar to appeal to reason/the sufferer/sirens.

Will check this one out, hoping to make up my mind

Fuck yeah. It's basically the lovechild of Endgame (my favourite late record from them) and R/M (a fucking classic, my second fav early record). The highlights are much more exciting than the ones on The Black Market, the low ends are less low. I like TBM and all but this is definitely a huge step up.

Highlights for me:

Wolves (probably my fav)

Welcome To The Breakdown

Parts Per Million

How Many Walls

Miracle

Megaphone

Broadcast[Signal]Frequency

Also, the release of this album and the singles reignited my love for this band :D
