Well, Trivium, BFMV, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, you name it. Anything with melodic elements from that time period and it's pretty damn great they went for that sound if you ask me.

Well... after a few listens, i can say that, as a whole, i think this album is better than Deathless. They finally found a way to create something really different from what they used to and make it sound awesome.

 

It's really hard to pick my favorite songs because each song bring something different to the album but i'd go with : My Destruction, Casualties and Shadows Inside and his ridiculously catchy chorus which has been stuck in my head for a couple days now.

I really enjoyed this album.

Under Fire, Lost in the Grey, Shadows Inside and My Sorrow are my favorites.

I totally respect the changes on the sound, the band is growing up and not becoming pop.

And i think there's a melodic death metal touch to the whole thing on this record.

IMO: Monument > Apologies > Shadows Inside > Deathless > At Heart > Rise of the Lion

Outstanding album from them with amazing clean vocals. Faves: Shadows Inside, My Sorrow, Under Fire, Never Let Me Say, Lost in the Grey. Recommended!!

amazing album, their best! 10/10. I hope they will release something new this year, or maybe a deluxe version of this album with some bonus tracks!
