Wow, Jonny got a lot better at writing catchy shit. A bit repetitive, but this is pretty easily my favorite Slaves song I think.

Those vocals are amazing, and the writing is next-level for Slaves. Reminds me of 'Death Never Lets Us Say Goodbye' from the last album.

Can definitely hear Erik Ron's influence in this though and I love it, Jonny might have a bad history but he's one of the most inspiring musicians I've heard, if not the most.

As context, this sounds different to their other stuff because the only members in Slaves that are permanent are Jonny and Colin, and Erik helped them write the upcoming album.

Yeah I definitely think Erik had a hand in writing this. Wouldn't be surprised if the album has other co-writers as well, but honestly I'm fine with that if it leads to an album this good throughout.

Jonny, regardless of everything I will always support, His music has so much passion. He definitely, has been through a lot and he did say the new slaves would be their best stuff to date. This song is amazing!

I heard before that Will Swan and Joe from A Lot Like Birds were gonna be involved in co-writing on this album too, I hope that turned out to be true!

Fuck this is good. I like both Slaves albums, although a lot of the songs are quite samey. If this is the new the direction they are going in then I am all for it.

I love how everyone is suprised that this is good. They've been incredible since day one. I love this, but I don't think it lives up to Through Art yet

Wow, a Slaves song I actually like. This song alone is better than anything they previously wrote.

Their best song in my opinion. Have not been a fan mainly because I kept falling asleep while listening to their previous releases. I enjoy this so much more than I expected and was able to stay awake. Interested in what the album will sound like now. Previous albums are basically 2 really long singles.

I'm with you on this one, I mean the song is really good and one of the best they've made to date, but if they make another album where 80% of the tunes are copypasted and sound the same then what's the point anyways? They're that perfect "shuffle" band where if you randomly play a song or two then you're gonna have a great time, but having to sit through their discog would bore me to tears. So yeah, reacting to this like the it's the second coming of christ after one song is hasty.

For me it shows promise because of the ways in which it improved over the vast majority of their previous two albums, imo. Obviously the full album may not be as good as this single, but if it's similar quality then yeah, for me it'll be way better than their previous two.

This is the band that I so badly wanted to like but never could. This song might change that it's so good.
