I am not Darroh. HOWEVER, they're repressing Arrows & Anchors!! so you never know what'll happen. this is the first thing they've done in what, 7 years? but who knows might just be the label wanting to do this.

Soupy literally said that they were planning on releasing this in December....on top of the fact that it is part of a concept that we are gonna love per his words via Twitter. I am thinking this is the first single either off a series of EPs or a legit full length. Follow his Twitter and he has said something about how he did over 10,000 words for a a new TWY project. Pretty sure it is one of the above

I don't believe so. hasn't been revealed yet. It'll be 2xlp, one being green and the other blue so that's pretty cool. That's what I saw on the label at least that was revealed by Brett(the drummer).

I'm hoping it'll have "Pour the Coal to 'er" though, which was a b-side released on some European versions of the CD, and on the itunes deluxe edition. although I'm guessing it won't.

Oh yeah, I definitely have the mp3 for Pour the Coal...  I'm a big fan of both FfaM and A&A.  I mean Inter is fine too, just rough.  Really wish they were able to produce more music.  They have a truly unique sound, which not many can say.

yeah 100% agree to the fact they were unique. It's a shame they disappeared. IFS is my favorite of theirs, just love how the keys are way more present, and everything is more gritty.

 

anyways, shortly after I replied I actually got a reply on a post I made somewhere else that someone preordered it through some site. so I looked into it and it looks like a ton of random 3rd party sites are doing preorders now. I also found a few that say itll be released on the 23rd. I'm just waiting for something a bit more official to buy it from!

I'm fine with IFS too, I just feel like FfaM production kind of polished up both the style and the sound and that the vocals had a much bigger and better sound.  I could see that about you liking the keys being louder... I've been that way about a couple bands having older mixes that were more technically unpolished but just hit better for me personally.

 

I've never been into record collecting, but it's definitely a cool aesthetic.  Enjoy your purchase!

its so funny that they are doing this now, I actually just sunk a bit earlier this year in order to buy the first pressing of the album. now just a few months later, after 9 years they're repressing it after not making a sound for 7-8 years! I'm really glad you enjoy this band a lot too, they were a treasure
