To everyone bitching about this not sounding like as I lay dying. Get over it, their not supposed to be as I lay dying. They are called wovenwar and are a completely different band. As much as I loved as I lay dying,they will never be together again. The guys wanted to do something completely different with this band. They are a hard rock band, and I think they are an amazing hard rock band. I completely loved the first album, and I like every single song on it. These guys are an amazing group of musicians. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though. But they will never have the same substance as as I lay dying did, because they are not the same band. I personally don't want them to even try to sound like as I lay dying without Tim, because it might end up disappointing everyone. I could see if Shane actually sounded similar to Tim, but he's far from it. Maybe one day everyone will at least get an as I laying dying reunion concert or even a new album. Ya never know

@KL Bot you predicted the future we have a new As I Lay Dying album in 2019 hahahaha oh god, looking back on this thread giving me some laughs. I love WovenWar so much and I really hope the members do something with as this band again. I understand Oh,Sleeper and AILD may not go away this time again for a while and I'm happy with that too, but I honestly loved how this band sounded as well. Both albums are amazing. Some bands stick with their side projects for the most part, and I hope said members decide to come back to this at some point.

Yeah Shane from Oh,Sleeper was the vocalist if I'm not mistaken. And the members were from AILD respectively as far as I remember.
