2. Belmont

3. Alkaline Trio

4. Silverstein

5. Hot Mulligan

All of these were so good. I feel like Alkaline Trio shouldn't be up there at all since it's 3 songs, but I enjoyed Minds Like Minefields too much to leave it off.

After Hours by The Weeknd is an easy win for me here.
Not a fan of him overall, but this album hits me hard in more ways than I can count or begin to describe after everything with my ex, and God damn it, Abel brought the album in hot and it is phenomenal. I loved Silverstein as well, but The Weeknd hit me hard

And I gotta give After Hours EXTRA props because it's an album from an artist that I wouldn't even say I'm a fan of - the album is just so...emotional and good.

Invent, Animate and Silverstein were disappointments, I hate to say it. At least it wasn't the dumpsterfire that was In This Moment's "Mother"...

Fuck it, Viscera's Obsidian is my favorite album of March. It was between that and Code Orange's Underneath, but I'm too much of a slut for Tech Metal and Obsidian hit all of the motherfucking right notes throughout. I love it so much.

Also:

Code Orange - Underneath

Igorrr - Spirituality And Distortion

Omega Infinity - Solar Spectre

The Weeknd - After Hours

Voted for Code Orange but I would say that my favorite release from this month was Body Count. Other great bands that released new music this past month were acts such as Void, Huntsmen, Horned, Never Prey, Ovid's Withering, Red and Revulsion. Big props to the underrated releases of the month from bands like Viscera, Klysma, Olhava, Medium, We Struck Gold and Oath of Damnation

Plenty of great releases this month, but I think my vote goes to Blueshift - Voyager. It's nothing groundbreaking but my fucking god is it solid. Great songwriting, production and catchy hooks all around.
