pleasantly surprised. Im a big fan of silverstein and was disappointed by the singles so I wasnt expecting much, but am happy with the final product. Even the singles seemed to get better when listening in context of the rest of the album.

All the features on this aside from Shomo are so unexpected for me. Different for Silverstein.

a bit poppier than I expected the rest of the album (we hadn't heard yet) to be. None the less it's the mighty stein and I can't hate.

The last 3 songs are just perfect to me. The rest of this record feels too artificial and it’s not as memorable. I love their poppier and catchier route (Afterglow, Aquamarine from last album), but most of this just doesn’t stick. The focus on the electronics is just too distracting and takes the energy away.

Dead Reflection was their best work IMO, but this fell short quite a bit.

Look, if Silverstein would have made this album 10 years ago, i'd be a bit confused but as of today, i really think they needed to switch things up a bit. Madness, All On Me and September 14th are amazing songs. I don't get the closer, but that's ok,  i'll juste delete it and live my life like i never heard it.

The best album by Silverstein? Not quite, but for as over produced as this is, it's still very enjoyable. 20 years into their career and they are still able to pelt out great jams like this is a testament to how much they love what they do. Hopefully they'll add a bit more variety to the next album to spice things up a bit, but either way it shows that they can definitely write a catchy song. Still miles better than A&D.

Solid 7-7.5/10

really?

I was ready to write it off based on the singles, but listening to the full album everything works really well... I'll wait for 320 to form a legit opinion because this is one of the worst 128s I've ever heard (and still grateful for), but so far I'm on board

All their albums since their fourth have been irrelevant. This one feels like that pop step they were looking for.

The last Silverstein album where I liked almost everything on it was This Is How The Wind Shifts.  Since then each album has been only a handful of songs that I keep, maybe.  After the first listen or two here... there aren't many tracks that stand out but I don't dislike it.  I guess the best way to explain it is that it doesn't have as high of highs or as low of lows as the last few albums, which means there aren't many songs I want to keep but I do think it's one of their better albums overall of late.  It's safe, by the numbers, pop-rock with a few Silverstein-y moments.

Heaviest/best song is "Infinite" by far. Not a fan of the rest, personally. Very meh pop with some rock. Really enjoy "Infinite", though.

Haha I need some pessimism before listening to it because man, I want to get stupidly hyped but those singles did nothing for me.
