Years have passed since Textures broke up and I'm STILL not fucking over that fact we never got the follow-up to Phenotype. Absolutely breaks my heart.

 

Oh well, still an amazing band, nonetheless. Drawing Circles is one of my favorite albums ever. Rip.

If you haven't already, check out Cilice, which was Daniel's band before joining Textures. They only released one album, Deranged Headtrip, and it's fucking bonkers, let alone, one of the most overlooked Djent/Math Metal albums to come out during its most popular period. Think: A middle ground of Meshuggah and The Dillinger Escape Plan with Mike Patton fronting it. Daniel's vocals shine more in diversity here than when he was in Textures.

one of my favourite djent albums back when  it was called math metal haha
