The first metal album ever created. Happy Birthday. I listen to this one at least twice a week.

Been listening to Paranoid a lot the last month or so. Gonna have to grab this especially it being a remaster. Thanks for the upload.

Definitely a good album and a massive landmark for Metal music, being the first "pure" Metal album (even if their Blues and Hard Rock roots show in places, like on "The Wizard."). I prefer Paranoid and Master Of Reality myself, but that's not knocking this one down at all. Imagine being around in 1970 and hearing something so sinister like "Black Sabbath," must have caused a lot of heads to turn. It definitely was a starting blueprint to what we know as Doom Metal too, later to be coined from "Hand Of Doom" from Paranoid.

So happy Metal came into existence, let alone, has been a massive culture and music scene for the last fifty years. Been into it since I was 14 and being 28 currently, it still stands as my favorite style of music.
