Kid A is easily my favorite. Brilliant, brilliant album. After that, I'd go with either Ok Computer or In Rainbows. By far, one of the best, most forward thinking and respectable bands to have mainstream success in Rock music.

This is one of those bands where I really liked some songs, but never really checked out their albums (other than In Rainbows). Thanks for the upload. Some of my friends are diehard fans, so hopefully I'll become one. Gonna dive in and study the studio albums. Lol

Most unessential essential band out there. So tired of hearing their name come up especially in 2019

Only album that's non-essential is Pablo Honey, but that's a given. Going from that to The Bends sounds like a totally different band, both in quality and sound. Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief, while they have some kinks, are both great albums in their own rights. The King Of Limbs, like A Moon Shape Pool, is a slow burner and definitely takes time to get into.

But yes, Kid is by far the best album Radiohead has done for me. Still can't find a better Radiohead song than "Idioteque" either, it's perfect. The band being influenced by Aphex Twin and Autechre have done wonders for them on that album.

I find it ironic how they were majorly influenced by Aphex Twin for creating possibly their best work and Aphex Twin himself really does not like this band

And wouldn't tour with them either, lol. It's funny too, because I decided to give Kid A a listen based on the Aphex Twin/Autechre comparisons. Either way, both Radiohead and Richard D. James have a lot of admiration from me.
