I really thought they would have learned from Wake Up Call but apparently not. I've been a fan of their work since the beginning. The last album was the first one that I did not purchase. In fact, it was the first I downloaded and immediately deleted after listening to. Not sure what happened but this is pure pop shit that screams "we sold out"

Every band "sell yourself", including your dear Slipknot! Or do you think they make music not to sell?

Bands can sell themselves without compromising the central sound of their music - especially when they have built a fan base already. Theory did that extremely well with Scars & Souvenirs, which is a great album. The closest that Slipknot has ever come close to selling out was on AHIG and that album is still heavier than everything mainstream. There is no comparison here. Theory went from rock to pop. There isn't any difference between this new music and Maroon 5. If you like that kind of music and you enjoy these new tunes, I'm happy for you. But for me this stuff isn't the Theory I know or the music I enjoy from them. I probably wouldn't even care if they used Theory as a pseudo name and this was a branch off of Theory of a Deadman (like Lo-Pro and Life on Planet 9). But if this is their new direction altogether, count me out
