Purple Reign cuts off at the end, pretty hard. Was this intentional? The original fades out.

Did you listen to the end of the song in comparison to the original? The instrumental version ends so abruptly. Doesn't even feel like the end of a song. It might not be a technical "cut" in the audio, but it damn sure doesn't feel like a proper end.

The original is just looped out with the vocals overlayed. With no vocals there is no need to loop out the same riff.

It looped and faded out. Which, for the last song of an album, is a good idea, when the alternative is to abruptly end. But I guess it doesn't bother other people like it bugs me. Oh well.
