Not gonna lie, the first half of this while catchy and solid, really weird, poppy and not that interesting of a sound for them, even compared to the last two singles, but the second half, wow, the melodies of the guitars fucked me up.

I may be the only one who feels this way, but I have not enjoyed either of the two singles. It is a complete 180 of TDWP and their past. Maybe it is just what I like in metalcore/metal music, but these just don't do it for me. Love the band, just not in favor of the direction they are going.

Yeah this is my current stance. First half was nothing to write home about, but that second half made it oh so worth it. I think it'll fit quite nicely on the album overall too.

Though, I don't think I could ever snark at anything TDWP releases, it may take me some time to get used to.
I fucking LORDED that Sour Breath cover and this is similar, so I can't complain. The singles have slapped, paint me keen.
I wish Switchblade was a single, guess they're saving the best for the album release.

The last album "Transit Blues" is the one with Daughter on it, and the one you said was garbage. Ha
Everyone has their own opinion, but its not TDWP that I have come to enjoy and listen to over and over again ---> For Example With Roots above and Branches Below & Dead Throne will forever be albums I can listen to from front to back and not get sick of.

I liked it.  This isn't going to compete with transit blues though.. unless they just happen to have released the 3 worst songs on the album so far.
