Most of the band members reunited and started a new band called Lifelong, which is more or less a Confide 2.0. The Lifelong EP came out just last year I believe

Saw them at Warped Tour a few weeks ago. Wonder if they're coming back 🤔

Didn't get why it was remastered, so I found out Joel retracked his drums and it's supposed to sound better, gonna need to compare to the original tho

pretty sure i heard an interview were joel said he hated the drums on the original mix. i think it was a Drum Forge interview actually.

Whats the point of remastering an album and not even talking about it on your social media pages? Or releasing it on all streaming services? These things are not difficult to do.

Havent listent to all the songs on the remastered yet, but comparing the songs i have listened to, imo while trying to improve the drums, they sacrificed the quality of some aspects of the rest of the mix. But that is a risk you encounter when remixing/remastering and such. I wonder if they did it themselves or someone outside the band.

I will just stick with the 2013 version. No extra work for hardly any difference. I like it as it was.

I had Recover on repeat throughout high school, but could never really get into this one. I think it was the poppier vocals from Joel that turned me off originally, might have to give this another listen.

They were a fairly popular post-hardcore band from like... 2008-2010ish. Part of the group of bands that followed in the footsteps of Attack Attack! in that era of Post Hardcore music. They had some good songs, but I was never fan of a complete album of theres.
