I’m sorry but if you think they peaked on Drift clearly I don’t need to read the rest haha It’s your personal opinion tho, even if you say it as it was an actual fact that Neon was “shit” in it’s entirety. I discovered these guys on myspace back in the days, and I follow them since and clearly this song mix all their styles from previous albums. So a real fan should definitely enjoy it, like pretty much all of the other comments show. 

 

But to me personally Neon was their weakest as well.

I believe it's been confirmed by Jesse that this is in fact a one-off song, but they are currently in the writing process for the next album.

Neon would be a much more listenable album if it had a better mix. It's just so flat, it really kills the whole thing.

I mean, Augment will always be my favorite album of theirs. That's one of, if not, the greatest progressive metalcore album ever. But Drift is it's own thing entirely, they crossed boundaries with that album and executed it beautifully. I feel like the material they've been putting out since then is just a shell of what they used to be. Just my opinion, I still love them and will keep trying to get into their future releases, they just haven't been doing it for me lately.

YES! J.T brought back Texas in July vocals. His range is super incredible and it has been supremely wasted on Erra's last 2 records, so this is VERY amazing to hear such a song with so much power, energy and passion. The quality of this is superb and contains the essence that Augment had but with JT's vocals and its a beautiful thing. I hope to EVERYTHING their next record sounds just like this song

It was about time to include other variations of J.T. vocals, top notch from him and Jesse. His work on Bloodwork was destructive. Amazing screams and beautiful cleans. (that chorus though, something special) Wild variety for sure.
