I mean, I'm not only into Hip-Hop/Rap. I enjoy pretty much all types of music. I'm also not here to preach about the glory of Rap and how all other music is inferior. Just curious.

Damn. managed to get AOTY 2017, even tho it was more because the more rock/metal fans had much more things to vote lol so yeah i'd say there's a solid fanbase of that kind of music, sadly stuff like MGK and Eminem get much more discussion than something like Denzel

I get that. If there's ever a time where you guys want a discussion like that, I'm up for it.

Im not a huge Rap rap guy. But im really into the metal and post-hardcore stuff. Like i love G-eazy, NF, Quadeca, Post Malone and such but they aren't my main genre :)

I gotcha. To be fair, some of their songs (A good portion) are bops.

-Core is my fave Genre, but there are some hot Hip-Hop Acts like MGK, NF, Witt Lowry.

I live in Germany and we have some "Pop?" Rapper like Prinz Pi, Casper etc.

Keep your Head up and listen to good music

All major Hip-Hip/Rap releases are always posted on the site. The little ones that are in Bumbfuck, Nowhere are the ones you won't see often.

Hip hop draws in the highest downloads actually, just the active in chat users are more to the core side

The formative years of my music tastes were all about hip hop and I always leaned towards funk, reggae, soul, indie, and various electronic genres. Its quite recently I got more into punk and heavier sounds. Not sure I'll ever go full core but I checked Northlane after someone mentioned them in the Chatbox. Not in my comfort zone but that's kind of the point, right. Reckon I'll check the new album when it drops.

I'd imagine it's because the core community is rather divided on releasees, whereas the hip hop community usually download the same things as other people do, so majority numbers
