damn, this is really fantastic.  I didn't realize post-hardcore could (does?) sound like this.  I'm out of my depth; if anyone knows where I should start looking to find more like this I'd appreciate it.

I really couldn't give you similar recommendations at the moment. I would implore you to check out the band's previous release A Hairshirt of Purpose and maybe some post-punk stuff like The Drones or Protomartyr. very different sounds but they have a similar feel I think.

I was just pissing on my hat and throwing it into the ring against the wind; thanks for those rec's.  Checking out Protomartyr and The Drones, but both links for 'A Hairshirt of Purpose' have been down (dbr.ee down for good it seems RIP in peace) since I checked out this album.
