They are a bit quieter for now but they will got updated soon so its all good

The rip I found on reddit is pitched completely different from the one that's uploaded here. It makes the songs sound very different. The reddit rip sounds a lot more like what Thrice would write - the upload here is pitched higher. Am I going crazy?

 

edit: i just listened to the KL rip and compared to the sound clips Thrice posted and the pitches do not match

I'm afraid that's what happens with Vinyl rips, they can't really be exact. Because this still sounds much more listenable than the old rip i'll leave it up, but feel free to PM me any rip you find and I'll compare. When it eventually releases digitally i will update it too of course

they can be “exact” if they’re done correctly and with good equipment. if you’re using a usb suitcase turntable though, it’s going to sound like the initial rip. the updated version is nearly perfect.

 

edit/source:

i ripped vinyl for what.cd for 8 years and anything off pitch or the wrong speed or different volumes was not tolerated, so believe me that it is possible just not common when most newbie vinyl enthusiants on reddit don’t know what they’re doing.
