One metalcore song, classified as metalcore. In reality, genre: trap rock lmao. This band is mediocre/bland af. Dont get the hype.

After one listen I think I actually  liked Lifelines more than this. This album is all over the place. Best songs were probably Bow Down, Gasoline and Let Me Be Sad. Rise Above It is straight trash and the worst song on here by far.

Hard to rate after one listen. Liked Gasoline, Bow Down,  Breaking Down and Low. Not quite sure where they wanted to go with that album - some metalcore songs, some pop songs, rap parts... Completely different from Lifelines for sure. Tyler Smyth is strong in this.

Just finished the album I'd have to say off of first impressions, it has alot of variety for sure and I overall like the record it's a step up from Lifelines and they avoided the Sophomore Slump. I also like how Eric is in this project alot more than he was in Lifelines there is a healthy mixture of both vocalists on this one and they both did great here, I'll probably grow to love this as I already really like it. My first rating for this would be an 8.5/10 fav tracks are Bow Down, Paranoid, Rise Above It, Breaking Down, Gasoline, Hurricane, Let Me Be Sad, Low and Deadweight after multiple listens that may or may not change

7/10 at best. Better than the 3/10 of their first album

Considering their first album is like a 3/10 this is like a 5-6/10, some songs, some sounds are definitely good and a huge improvement, it's still by the numbers and uninspired af. Songs 2-4 are incredibly skippable, weird they even wasted feature spots for those mediocre songs. I do think the middle of the album is quite solid even tho most of these electronic parts are already dated and not too interesting, the rap rock is unappealing but it's still much more solid than you'd expect from them so yeah, I don't see why people who liked their last album already wouldn't like this even more, because it's clearly more of the same but superior. Oh and, pretty bad lyrics and song titles.

Half of the album is legit unlistenable and I deleted it right after I was done.

@sapples you beat me to it. lol "All Over The Place" is about right. sounds like they tried to branch out different different melodies to create a radio friendly hit. "Deadweight" has a chorus that sounds eerily similar to Asking Alexandria
