Far from their best, I can feel the Tongue Tied vibe but... Idk, something's missing

Can't wait for more still

Probably the fact it isn't a cover song.

I loved Selective Hearing and never really liked their covers

Also, after a few listens, gotta admit this song is REALLY good (wish I could edit my first comment)

The start was more Alt Rock then got into Disturbed territory. I think this is just more Hard Rock than Metalcore or even just Rock. Still love these guys. I will always support them :)

Right, so edgy.

Pretty sure these guys are known more now for their covers than their actual songs. Can't really deny they just churn covers out.

My take is that at this point Our Last Night have deliberately chosen to make pop covers an integral part of their identity as a band. It's worked out well for them, but by that same token I think it's fair game to criticize them for it since they really do make a TON of covers.

That being said, I actually like this song. I like that they're incorporating the pop influences a bit more into their music in the verses, I think it works well for them to emphasize those contrasts in their sound.

just because they've been releasing crap for years it does not make this good

that chorus is one of the most cliche set of lyrics i've heard in a while

What the actual FUCK is this production? Their average covers sound better than this. Song itself is quite good. Pretty good songwriting for this alt.rock'd metalcore.

After like the 50th cover it stopped being a cool novelty and is now just annoying.

You're right it did stop being a cool novelty and now it's the way this band makes money and let's them do what they want musically. Never got into them but i think they've found a good way to make money as a scene band.

Are they progressively getting heavier again? Cause I dig this.

i didn’t find the radio rock sound suited them very well. 🤷🏼‍♀️

and Trevor really should show off his ridiculously improved scream god damn.

I know I don't want an entire album of this. I really like the bridge tho -- Just not real into anything else.

Good song, finally something darker again. But the production...the guitar is not really sounding as full as it's supposed to be.

Their new album will be released on march 8th, hopefully it’ll be good.

Their cleans always had that “pop” feeling like most post-hardcore bands, maybe not as obvious as their latest material, but still..

For a first official single released for that album, it’s far from bad.

Not as good as soul speak or fantasy land, but still good. I love that fake ooh-wah-ah-ah-ah

the start was more of a metalcore vibe, then it went to more of a post hardcore sound. These guys never sounded like Disturbed. I would never put this band in a hard rock category, maybe alternative rock but definitely not hard rock.

Holy shit!!! someone else that actually considers this band more post hardcore lol. I about lost it when i saw the comment that these guys went into disturbed territory and sound more hard rock lmao
