I'm not a huge fan of the softer stuff they've been putting out because their heavy stuff is just so much better, but this isn't bad. I'm not sure how to feel about this.

Been a big fan of the band since their first EP, skeptical with their first single. But after listening, some solid lyrics but only really enjoyed the last 3 tracks. Smoking Man should've been the tone they were aiming for. Creepy, great production, and quality lyrics. The rest of the album felt like each song was missing a key production part to give it more power

I nearly fall asleep with this thing. I totaly like it, when they go a bit mellow, but except of Acid Rain and Smoking Man, the rest is just....there and thats it. They can do better.

Really good EP. Love how they went soft, it actually suits them really nice. I probably never get tired of Cane Hill. Everything they do is just amazing, pleasant to lisen to, groovy, hard, soft. I like it a lot. 86d - No Escort is such a good track, loving the synth, the acoustic guitar and Elijah's singing. Empty is really chill track but personally my least favorite. Save Me has all these nice melodies appearing here and there, very nice combination of piano and guitar. Again the singing is superb, chorus is beautiful. Kill The Sun is pretty simple and I guess it was fair to release it as a first single, since it pretty much represents the EP. Simple acoustic guitar, nice synth bass, singing, electric guitar solo at the end - that's pretty much what it's all about. Acid Rain is a preparation for the closer, great synth bass and I love how the song shapes into something different towards the end, where the synth bass is being pushed to the front and it all has this nice trippy feeling with the distorted vocals. Probably my second favorite track, first being the opener. Smoking Man is I think the most different song compared to the rest. It's I guess the most energetic song and then it shapes into something dark and disturbing. I love how they tell the story through these songs and each song has a different feeling but it all goes together so well. 5 songs is enough tbh, but I wouldn't mind more of this soft stuff. It's a solid 8/10. It's not perfect but it's great when you want to take a break and just relax.

Absolutely amazing. The singles were definitely the better of the six, but Empty is fantastic

kinda reminds me of old tantric.

i'll be interested to see if they move further into radio rock or if they can pull off a magical blend of this and their old style.

I didn't really like it. The 3 songs they've already released were very similar, the title track being the only one I enjoyed, and the other 3 were just not interesting at all to me.
