I'm unsurprised Holy Hell won. I am however surprised Silent Planet wasn't higher. They put out one of the best albums I've ever listened to(honestly miles better than Holy Hell in my opinion).

Knew Architects would take it out, it is a great album. Had to keep my vote for the local boys......PWD, otherwise it'd be un-Australian of me

My heart is in Casey but.. Boi, Triple H knows what's the best theme song for WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. :like:

So did anyone actually listen to Holy Hell for more than a couple of days?

Also, why?

Architects was a bit bland and i loved their previous two albums to death.

Not surprised they won but nowhere near some of the other releases to come out this year.

@Exsanguination45 I listen to Holy Hell daily if not a few times a week. It's a quality piece of work with such emotion/passion. The fact that even though Tom didn't write it, Josh was able to capture his style of playing was pretty cool. Lotta cool tracks on it, Royal Beggars and A Wasted Hymn are amazing. Plus Nolly's production on the album are top tier and not the same stale sound as the last two albums.

The 2 album's before this sounded stale?

Sorry, what?

Holy Hell has the same sound,  just without the good songs though.

Granted, it's not bad as such, but it's just there....no stand out tracks, no stand out parts even...there's no way the last 2 album don't completely slay this tbh

Since when do people not like DGD here?

Denzel Curry - Taboo and Mac Miller - Swimming deserve to be in the list.

I forgot to vote, but i agree with the list except Dance Gavin Dance, i just don't understand the love they get on this site.

Also expected Parkway Drive to be higher, went to their show last week and they were truly amazing.
