This feels like such a down grade from their last album. So sad. It's missing a certain energy the last one has, it's got the rock, but not the bop

I don't get why people are saying this is a downgrade from S.O.A.R. This album is even better than that one. Better lyrics, heavier and more passion in it.

Totally agree with u.

So here is my good old Album review. Track by track I do want to do it but it will be so long and idk if people would be into that. If people want me to do a track by track review let me know. Overall I was hyped about it they even said it would be their hardest Album and I say they didn't deliver it at all. I really agree with @The Top Hat on how this is a downgrade. I think they rushed the record instead of taking time for it. Why the hell would u have 2 instrumentals on a record. You could have made lyrics to the songs. If an artist releases instrumental on a record not including intro and outro i say its lazyness. I love how the record is a lot like Breaking benjamins on how they all kind of tell a story but u have really play through all the record everytime which kind of sucks. Overall Fav tracks that I will play on repeat: One shot, The Censor, Give It Up, Wonderful Creatures, Under the overpass (Really wish they added lyrics to this song). But for real tho a let down for an album I have to give it a 6/10. I recommend u listen to it but there last other two were so much better than this one. Hope they dont rush the next album as bad as this one.

Got home from work, adding my small bit on the album. DTD remains one of the best at giving some fresh sounding tracks with good sound progression. However, it is definitely a step down from the previous work, and significantly softer at that. Disappointed only because I didn't expect this big of a change up, but overall it's... okay?  I see some tracks growing on me over time... but for now nothing minus the censor stands out.  It's still worth checking out though for anybody who's considering!

PS, why do bands throw in harsh vocals / screams if they are going to suffocate, soften or tone down the volume on it during production?? It's a useless tease... either commit to them or don't. It hardly ever works out and usually leaves me with music's equivalent of getting blue balled...

I really don't think they rushed this album. They could have left the instrumentals out of the album, and it would still leave 10 songs on the record, just like S.O.A.R. An album should have atleast 10 songs (lyrics + instrumentals), anything under that shouldn't be called an album, imo. *cough* In Hearts Wake *cough*

Also, the FLAC version is missing 'One Shot'.

Well, I checked out their Livestream yesterday and they didn't have any songs so called for a deluxe album or no extra songs. That's why im thinking they rushed it, most artist should have extra songs maybe leave them for the next record or not release them but they had nothing. They probably followed a guideline for the album and had to make a certain amount of songs and that's it. They also said they only made the record this past year. I could be wrong but that's just what i see from what they put out on social media. Most of the songs kind of have the same vibe to it to me I just don't know.
