The opening and the ending are cut off, somehow. There was 4 second opening before the song began + there was a "BACK" at the end, but that's cut off, too.

I expected something more impressive considering Drew Fulk, but it's not too bad either. majority of the song still has solid fills and stuff and is more enjoyable than a lot of their recent material imo.

If you like waiting over 2 minutes to hear the first and only scream for less than 5 seconds than this song is for you. As for me, Memphis May Fire haven't really done anything amazing since 2012's Challenger album. And this song is clearly taking after their direction from This Light I Hold, which was sort of good, but definitely their weakest album to date. This new song is nothing compared to Sleepwalking, The Hollow, and Challenger, and hell even parts of Unconditional. I'll still give this new album a listen, but in years ahead when I play some MMF, it probably won't be this.

I’ve defended much of their last two albums despite the hate they got and despite the fact that The Hollow was obviously their best work, but this I cannot get behind. This and Virus are both butt rock and I cannot dig it. At least This Light showed some promise. This just feels like it was written for radio play.

I agree. The 320 will be nice! They did the world premiere of the song today, but the official drop in iTunes and elsewhere is Friday.

@TheHunteraciaStrain I can't get behind this either. The initial shock of hearing this song makes me want to write it off completely, it's some hot garbage. But it could be a grower if we give it a chance. I don't expect much from this album though, their old The Hollow days are long over in favor of some radio friendly tunes.

This is a total slap in the face to fans like us that have backed them for so long. But Matty wants radio play so he’s working his ass off to get it. And it’s just sad man.

Both of their past two records have actually had some very good songs on them, while not being the greatest records all together. But this song and Virus are a big yikes from me if it’s any indication of the new album

I'm someone who got into them with This Light I Hold then went back and discovered the greatness that is The Hollow. They couldn't replicate The Hollow in like 3 albums so it makes sense they changed it up a bit. I don't have a problem with either direction

This is a pretty good song in their more recent radio friendly style. Much better than Bring Me The Horizon's latest single. Even noticing some nu-metal influence on the riffs and almost rapping bridge. There's some really good melodies and singing from Matty on this one.

I don't know why the metal community can't get over the elitist attitude towards bands making catchier music. I mean, it's not like they went full on All That Remains and started making wimpy ballads. This still has heaviness and aggression, it's just more basic and more produced sounding.

This ain’t it. Bands can make catchier music and it still be very good. See the latest Ice Nine Kills single or the new Amity album. MMF just isn’t good at radio rock. At all.

New INK is super catchy, and the first two singles were kinda heavy, INK has always been god tier at mixing catchy and aggression though
