I feel that on the A7X. City of Evil was alriiight, Waking The Fallen was their overall best album imo for sure

What? City of Evil was better than Waking the Fallen. Don't get me wrong, WTF was my first Avenged album, and I have the deathbat tattooed on me, but COE just has so much more to it.

I don't get the hype. Yeah its better than their recent awful releases and it's heavy but that's about it. 6/10 at best.

People are hyped simply because of the direction they've taken with this song, not really because of the song itself. I have my doubts about them doing a full metalcore album anyway. As we can see, they're pretty rusty

@darnocdarnoc Yeah i agree, i loved that album. I remember how much i listened to it. It got so bad i wore my cd's out sometimes. Waking the fallen was one of them albums. I bought a total of 4 copies, one got stolen and 3 got scratched up from being in my cd player and my cd case. I bought waking the fallen resurrected. I burnt off a copy and i just listen to it while my actual copy never comes out of the case haha. I guess i finally learned that Cd's get scratched up too easily haha

@BRDSX kinda hard too after hearing this, it got me excited. Almost as excited as the first time i heard Chiron when they released it. I still love that song and album. Overcome was very good, and their nevermore cover was amazing.
