Expecting the worst but here's to hoping it resembles SOMETHING (Anything?) of their former glory days! Thanks for the Leak!

These guys really got up and went straight into shall I say heavier gardens, it's not POP at all, I mean, it's solid Rock and sometimes Post-Hardcore, the screams are also always on point  fucking Fall Out Boy should learn,  T RA SH they released was painful to listen to, one of the worst albums I've ever heard, it's not because it was poppy, the reason is far beyond that, repetitive, sellout, boring and lyrics are terrible
Here in Generation RX it's like complete opposite, I'm not saying the lyrics are breathtaking, but you can relate with them, they are taken from life situations and such, which I praise and like these kinds of songs, because they empower you from one way and they make you think from the other way :)
This is an improvement and I dare to say, even tho the album is FUCKING short and I'm still frustrated...I mean 31 minutes? Come on, it's more like EP
But it's their best LP/EP in ages!
You'll get chills, you'll get shocked and you'll get emotional
9/10
My favs: Self Help, Shadowboxer, Prayers

Intro + 8 full songs breaks my heart

last album had 16 songs (with bonus tracks)

2010 album had even 21 songs (ok 4 acoustic but still)...

disappointed by the quantity, convinced of the quality

I would take quality over quantity any day

The Sam Carter feature is probably the worst utilisation of a great vocalist for a guest spot I have heard in my life.

I know, me usually too

but...

after I finished this album, I just felt like I've listened the first half of an album.

It's way too short. Why do they release it? Just to release something, at least it feels like this.

They have enough money to record like 20 songs. If they don't have enough ideas for a full album they should've cancel the intro and write "EP"...

I can understand when some unsigned bands have issues with releasing albums with more than 10 songs (cause of money problems) but nothing of this apply to gc..

I was hoping it'd be more like Do't Wait by Neck Deep when I saw that it was featuring Sam Carter. Bummer that he doens't have a heavyscreambridge. Would fit the song perfect.

He is a bit...as an addition there, I love Sam, he is THE DUDE, but here it was...okay :D

Completely solid album! My only complaint is for having 8 songs merely. My favs are Shadowboxer, Leech, Prayers and Self Help.

by far their best album in years, I literally enjoy every song. Happy they are sounding more serious ( if that makes any sense), its a really nice album albeit disappointingly short.

Possibly my biggest surprise of the year. I am blown away at how much I enjoy this album .  I haven't liked anything they put out since Young and Hopeless

This is amazing. This release shocked me. They got heavy. More rock n roll influenced, maybe some metal? But damn it's goood af. I don't care if it's a "mini" album. It's excellent. Like a nice b-side album of pop rock metal to add to the alt pop punk album from 2016.

The best they’ve been since the young and the hopeless. Hopefully they keep it up and put out more songs next time

100% Agree. I felt like his absence wouldn't have made a difference
