This month had a ton of fantastic releases, and it's truly hard too hard to narrow it down to one release (even if half of what I loved isn't listed *cough* @Lord Kingdom slacking *cough*)

Time the Valuator, Actor Observer, KEN Mode, Makari and TAA definitely were among my most listened. Initially I was super hyped for Erra, but it ended up being more of a let down than anything.

ERRA and Villain of the Story really killed it this month for me. Pretty awesome stuff.

Also, the new BMTH single "Mantra" was awesome.

I had never listened to With Confidence until two weeks ago and I was blown away by their new album, WSTR was great as well. However, MAc Miller's album was spectacular and it will get my vote everytime

Death Cab For Cutie and The Flats for me. Basement Revolver and Actor|Observer put out really solid albums as well, they're up there for me. I'm surprised that Death Cab isn't on this list, or that nobody has mentioned them yet.

Yes, I'm so glad I'm not the only person that found the new ERRA album to be a huge let down. It's the most monotonous, generic piece of music they've ever put out.

While Erra's new album is still growing on me, Time, The Valuator was a huuuge surprise. I've never heard of them before, and I've been listening to this album a lot for the past month. They're not revolutionary by any mean, but my god is this album well crafted. Easily in my Top 10 of this year. Villain Of The Story and Makari also had really solid releases, but i gotta give it to Time, The Valuator.

I'd go with Time The Valuator,  Idles, Foxing, and Roseview. If I HAD to pick of course.

I voted for Alkaline Trio.  It may have been released on the last day of August, but it still counts.  Also, an honorable mention for Murder By Death's new album that was released on the 24th.  It's a solid record from start to finish.

Lots of great metalcore this month from start to finish,  lot of great new bands for me. VCTMS was awesome but I still feel Crossfaith still just edged it out from the beginning of the month. 
Sleep Waker nd Oh Sees were other great new bands, surely underrated. Grandson nd Tallah were other greats this month but I spose they were only EPs. Erra nd Time the Valuator were cool but a little derivative for me. Gonna be tough to pick an AOTY, too much good stuff
