ERRA hasn't been good since Garrison (or even Ian, for that matter.) left. JT is so monotonous that it takes away from everything else being done, which is still a noticeable step down from anything off of Impulse or Augment. It's still better than anything off of Drift, though.

I agree but to me the biggest downside was Alan leaving. His writing style was waaaay different and so much better imo. They will never top Augment

It's absurd though because they complain that JT's vocals are too loud on Neon.

Also if the vocals are fine enough then it shouldn't dictate the whole sound of the album. Lifebinder has many faster/stronger riffs than Neon anyways so yeah it is better. get over it.
