BTBAM nd Frontierer have to be my biggest anticipations of the year, cant go wrong with either one. Nice to see that BTBAM got nominated twice this year, even tho it should've just been released as one album.

Bury Tomorrow was a nice surprise, their best yet. Shame Scars on Broadway didn't make the cut, I sure enjoyed that.

Of course I had to vote for Deafheaven. I enjoyed some other amazing releases as well like Bury Tomorrow, Birds In Row, Real Friends, Miss Fortune, Nexilva, The Home Team, Thou, Filth, Hopesfall, Ame Noire and Fronterier. GOOD underrated July releases were The Hopewell Furnace with some banging deathcore, There Will Be Hate with some slams from El Salvador and Rayleigh with the good screamo shit.

Between You & Me , Trash Boat , and Miss Fortune were mine. Really been into the pop punk/alt rock stuff lately. BY&M put out a great debut in my opinon. MF was not what I was hoping for but after a few listens I can dig it. Haven't jam Trash Boat that much but when I did I really enjoyed it.

I thought I was going to choose Miss Fortune, but very, very surprisingly Real Friends came out with a game changing album, and I've never liked them before this album.

All the pop punk releases made me very happy. The summer vibes in music were pretty strong in a lot. But Bury Tomorrow took me by surprise. So the heavy metalcore group wins my vote for this topic :D
