Very true, I try to buy as much as I can especially for smaller bands like this, my CD collection is getting big now but there's only so much money to go around

I hear you, man.  I don't even buy cds anymore, i just buy digitally *if* the band doesn't have any good merch.  

 

if they do have solid merch I buy 3 or 4 shirts and jyst keep the rip.  it washes out I think. 

 

as far as my money not stretching as far as my library, I only support the bands I come back to.  if I listen once and don't like it, I delete and move on.  if something about it brings me back and I decide at the end of my second listen that I want to listen again that's when I give my support. 

 

and it's not always immediate, I have a list of bands that I need to get to... currently 3 on that list not scratched out, 'wolf and bear' 'animal jam' then 'trash boat'... in that order

Exactly the same here, usually only buy CDs of bands that I really enjoy and want the entire collection for, which obviously is the same for T-shirts and such which I probably have too many of at this point.

 

I do like purchasing digital stuff from Bandcamp though, feels like the artist would get more money that way, no idea if they do though! Haha

i do the same thing, this band definitely deserves some monetary support

just wished the cd wouldnt ship so much later, especially since its comin from overseas, but ill be jammin to this for years to come
