After he died Youtube recommended ALL his music videos in a playlist so I skipped through them, didn't like a single song lmao, and I enjoy certain pop, rnb, edm sounds. He just did the most awful kind.

This band has always been pretty shite but holy hell this is truly garbage lmao.

 

I despise newgen BMTH but they made this electronic/rock/pop sound such a staple for themselves with TTS that it really comes of as disingenuous when any other band tries so hard to do it themselves. Not that BMTH own that sound, and they definitely weren't the first to do it, but when other bands from """the scene""" try it, it just instantly seems lazy.

Yeah, Avicii was just commercial dance/pop, but the synths on this one sound exactly like him. That "piripiripiru" was his signature sound lmao
