It'll be unfair to compare this to any LP or Fort Minor record, however, this album -- imho -- leaves a lot to be desired.

This is gorgeous and haunting. Really highlights the kind of art that comes from pain.

If there's a Machine Gun Kelly feature, you know the album's not gonna be good.

So because there's one song with someone you don't like, that makes the whole album bad?

He's been consistently good though for the most part. Bloom had it's moments that were questionable, but when you compare him to most of modern day rappers there's no comparison.

Now if it had Mac Miller, Swae Lee, Travis Scott, PARTYNEXTDOOR, or Tyga, then yes you'd be correct in that song not being good.

It's not an album to compare to another one man.

Its about the emotions the pain the fucking anguish mike went through when Chester took his own life, suicide is nothing to joke about or compare to man.

With all due respect, you might have taken what I said way out of context.

Never did I joke about suicide, and what I clearly said was that it would be unfair to compare this album to any Linkin Park album, and/or Fort Minor album. There was never a comparison to begin with.

Not to mention the song has still Chino Moreno in it, so even if MGK sucked (which he didn't) the song would be still 10/10

Thanks mann, was waiting for this since he announced it hahaha

Going to listen it and check, for the moment (all the songs he released) it´s pretty dope, specially Ghosts (my fav by far) and Running From My Shadow.

The only thing that left me kinda sad/dissapointed were the feats. I don't know if i am the only one that was expecting some big colabs, Blink-182 (they did a lot of things together the past year, i was surprised they didnt appear here), Kiiara (i really liked her colab on Heavy and i was expecting her too), and maybe some other big artists (like the majority that went to the memorial concert).

Out of that, really good material, was missing his solo things, at LP he wasnt shinning as singer/rapper really much after Living Things, in my opinion.

@N×T182 he never joked about nor compared anything to suicide, simply said is shouldn't be compared to any Linkin Park album or Fort Minor as there is a reason it was put out and it was not to compete with either of those. You were quick to assume a whole lot of shit from a clearly stated comment about comparisons to other music, not the subject matter of the album.

Worse and more personal things have been sung about in the history of music and it could've been compared or criticized. Don't be dense.
