Pretty bland track imho, not bad but not memorable, just ok-ish.

I'm just not getting which direction are they trying to head with their music at this point, they set the highest of hopes when Don't Need You came out, only to let them down a year or so later.

I really like Letting You Go. It's more electronical influenced than Over It and Piece of Me, but still I really like it! The only thing is the lack of screams..but other than that, it's well made.

This is honestly awful. How are their lyrics so noticeably bad in these singles as well? This album will be Fever/Riot tier at this point.

Lyrics feel pretty bfmv styled, just without the heaviness

i have to get used to the new Bullet sound. The added electronic elements and voice dub makes him sound like edsel dope sometimes. Still got the riffs going for em, but still missing the agression and shredding solo's. I just had higher hopes when Don't Need You sounded so huge

I find it so interesting that screaming seems to be the most important musical aspect to the vast majority of posters on this site. 

 

Screaming doesn't set a band apart.  It blends them in.  Anyone can scream, and they do.....and it all sounds exactly the same.  Almost nothing differentiates one screaming band from another.  AND, every single band follows the same progression of screaming, screaming, screaming, then singing cause they can't scream anymore.  And if that screamer can't sing, they're gone.

Good song.  I'm curious about the mixing sound on the singles as well.  I really think they could all sound a shitload better if mixed differently. 

 

You know what really pisses me off?  I saw yesterday that the band answered questions for a room full of fans, after those fans sat there an listened to the WHOLE ALBUM!!  I don't understand this at all.  If its done, put it the fuck out!  They're currently touring, its clearly finished, so why the hell are we waiting till the end of June? 

 

Cause the record company says so.  So fucking stupid.  This is why people download.

Oh I get that.  And I'm all for SOME screaming.  Full songs of it though?  IMO is just plain awful.

Lol, no. Promotion and marketing are important, not every band can pull a Beyonce and just expect their fans to drop money on an album that comes out of nowhere. People who weren't going to purchase the album aren't going to change their mind just because the release date moves up a month or so.

I think the only single from Gravity I've really ended up liking is "Piece of Me", even if the snare drum in there gave me St. Anger flashbacks.  I'm not setting my hopes high for this album, but I'll probably buy the vinyl just to complete my collection.  Really loving the trend of rock/metal bands switching to other genres.  Really.  It's.  Great.  Doesn't make me lose interest in the bands at all.

I loved Venom, but what's going on with BFMV at this point? Every single so far is about relationships. It's getting tiring. The lyrics sound like they're coming from an angry 15 year old who acts woe is me. The only good thing about this track is the chorus is catchy.... if you  don't listen to the lyrics.

That is exactly how I felt about the new Seether album.  Their heaviest work, same old whining about losing a lover.

The "no screams don't mean bad" opinion in this thread is fucking obnoxious. There's plenty great bands and artists that don't screams, BFMV aren't one of them.
