But they're not claiming to be pop punk anymore. Actually- did they ever explicitly say they were, or is that just what everyone on this forum thinks of them? They didn't work with John Feldmann on this album haha

This interview is from February and only one new song was out at the time, but from the first question, they talk about their sound changing, being now in their 20s and it being a "natural progression" away from their first two albums.
