Just because they don’t sound the same as they did when they released horizons or deep blue, doesn’t mean their getting worse. A band can’t stay the same forever. If you keep releasing the same songs over and over again, it gets boring. This is called progression, it definitely has a punk influence. Technically you have 5 punk rockers playing metalcore. These guys are my favorite band and I love heavy shit. I didn’t know what to think at first, because I miss the horizons sound. But I love what these guys are doing. I like that their trying to do something different. It’s funny everyone bitches when a band changes their style and everyone bitches when they sound the same as they did on the last album. I think people just bitch, to bitch

I personally love this fucking song, it kinda has a punk rock vibe too it. Which is the type of music I loved before getting into metalcore, deathcore and all those bullshit genres people makeup for some stupid reason. Regardless I have liked metal since I was 2 years old. Instead of cartoons, my mom said I watched MTV religiously. Which was when they had nothing but music on there. MTV use to be cool, I wish it still was. But anyway this song is awesome, so was the void, and so was wishing Wells. I like all 3 of the singles and I loved Ire and devil’s calling. I thought that song was amazing. Then again I’m a guitarist, and the guitars of that song just caught my attention. Parkway drive is going through a change, and there is nothing wrong with that as long as it’s a good change. Here in Pennsylvania they don’t play shit like this on the radio. Maybe in other states, so the comments of it being radio rock is bullshit. I didn’t read all the comments, but I saw somewhere someone said that. It might have been a different site lol. This is what progression sounds like though, you can’t expect a band to keep releasing the same shit over and over again. It gets boring. But of course everyone is gonna bitch when they stay the same and everyone bitches when they change it up. I think people just bitch, to bitch.

These guys aren’t making music to please the crowd, if that were true. They would write another horizons album. This is them doing what they wanna do, their 5 punk rockers in a metalcore band. You can hear the huge punk rock influence in these new tracks. So you can tell it’s what they wanna do
