Tbh I think FFDP would improve so much if they drifted away from the political/military type lyrics and just write about other things. I kinda dropped listening to them once I realized that's what they were going for. This track is okay. Album art would've been better without the shitty microphones added in. Thanks for the post though!

The political driven lyrics have been present since 2007 with them. They do write about other topics tho?

I know but the heart political influence has been there more than anything else on a surface level. It's usually what pushes me to not really listen to their new stuff. I hear about the political state of the world everywhere else, so I'd rather not listen to music that's blatantly about that subject matter. But that's just me. I don't think their music is bad, just lyrically not really my cup of tea apart from a few songs.

I suppose it's just never really bothered me because their lyrics have always been complete and utter shite since 2011. I absolutely adore this band but I can see what you're saying. They're just so damn catchy, I can't not love them lol

FFDP used to be my favorite band when I was younger. I drifted away from their mainstream sound. I still give a listen to everything they put out. This isn't half bad.

The only thing that's fake is the lyrics on this song because there's no way they actually said "We like these lyrics, they'll be perfect for the new album! Nothing better than saying 'motherfucker' 30 times in a song!"
