Good single, love the energetic pace of the verses and the chorus is very catchy, the last part is classic DGD. Also the single and it's structure extremely reminded me of Secrets - Incredible (one of their best songs).

That opening is so good then BAM that screaming tho. This track is catchy as hell. I'm predicting this is going to be a competitor of my AOTY. The drums are killer. My ears go right to them. The chorus is catchy and found myself singing along.

Really like it.  I'm sure a lot of people don't like the poppier sound (As was the case with Betrayed by the Game, although I personally loved it), but if Mothership is any indication, every song is probably gonna sound very unique from one another.

That's usually why everyone likes DGD. They're groovy and wacky but don't break their formula too much. Melodies and rhythms and riffs may sound similar at times but are different. This single has a very good flow. Also, most DGD songs come in parts and have sequel songs as albums come out. So it's only natural to hear the similarities when they're usually intentionally made. But I understand what you mean buddy. Plus I hold a little bias towards DGD so I'm hyped haha. I mean I preordered my record weeks ago before this came out lol. So far, not disappointed.

Let me try to explain a little better. Every DGD album, progressed their sound forward, and made them more wacky and groovy, and every album felt like a progression of their work, and then Instant Gratification progressed more, but that progression seems to have stopped at Mothership, it didn't feel like it did what the others did or had what the others had. This song is still a step in the fight direction, it feels like a small step of progression
