Give me a few days and I'll tell you. Work doesn't leave me much time to listen to music so I'll get on it eventually on a few days. I have high hopes on this.

While I don't know if they'll ever make a song as groovy and streamlined as "Perpetual Growth Machine", I think this album as a whole is easily their best release. Top notch writing and production on this one. And yet another masterful album that truly deserves the Dan Seagrave artwork it bears.

This album is on a completely new level. I've listened to so much Technical/Progressive Death Metal over the past few years and this is truly one of the greatest albums to ever be released into the genre. It's just nothing short of a masterpiece, I just cannot praise this release enough, Rivers have released a genre shattering and ground breaking album.

This shit is fucking sublime. Some of the coolest metal I've heard in years. It might just be mainly Tech Death and Prog, but there's so many cool influences and variety, fucking piano and sax, cleans, acoustics, there's everything and it all fits and flows so damn well. Hell, there's even this dank ass electronic interlude that slaps hard as fuck. God damn this shit is awesome.

Every fucking week more and more AOTY material comes out and we're not even three months in, yikes.

Just listened to this earlier when i exercised and wow. This monster of an album doesn't fuck around. "Where Owls Know My Name" is such a far leap from "Monarchy" it's pretty unbelievable. Everything from the cleans, sax, riffs.. all the way to the acoustics, ambient interludes, and synths. Hate to say it, but one of my favorite bands who nails this ambient tech death formula (Fallujah) just met their match. They gotta team up and go on many tours.

Fantastic record. Definitely has the ability to be one of the best death metal releases this year. Literally have nothing to complain about. That's something most bands/records can't manage for me.

Not to mention that Fallujah are currently writing and Obscura are getting ready to release a new record, this is gonna be one hell of a year for tech death.

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Their previous stuff was absolutely excellent, but they took everything to a brand new height with this record. Holy shit. This'll be on repeat for quite some time.
