Love the overall sound of Tyler's production, something really distinct about the music he makes. That last Dangerkids album was fantastic

After multiple listens, I can easily say I'm not disappointed like I was with TTLB the first time I heard it. I feel like there is something here, and the rest of the album will show for it. And if the rest of the album is like this, then at least it's not as drastically changing of a sound as SOME BANDS OUT THERE COUGH COUGH

I should explain myself. I felt that the vocals on Witness (and their first album) felt choppy, and the quality of the music felt not that great. I think that for sound purposes, and quality wise, Hollow Bodies is their best. Lyrically, Witness is their best. If they'd go back and remaster it, it'd be my favorite

Never been huge on these guys. I vaguely remember liking Hollow Bodies, but like I said, have never been a super fan. So, without having a connection to their older material, i'm liking this a lot, excited to hear more.

The song is not bad, but I was expecting a lot more. I've never been a fan of Beau's vocals, but it sounds like he's getting worse...

craig mabbitt (escape the fate) did cleans before beau

I saw them live in december 2007 1 week after craig left the band in the middle of the european tour

 

they had to improvise so jared was the frontman but did screams only. eric did the clean parts.

That breakdown feels so forced and its only saving grace is how good the screams are. Mediocre song. Their whole "this is a new beginning" thing tells me this is probably one of the few songs that'll have screaming in general. Hollow Bodies seems to be where this band ended to be good for me.

Everyone saying "They've been terrible since Hollow Bodies"... Yeah, it was 5 years ago, but it was only one album ago. Bands release 'meh' work every once in a while and this is only a single song from the new album. Beau even said that there's a few songs like this but it's more heavy/punk than pre-sale grabbing rock.

I was comparing the single only. As in, this single doesn't really come close to any of those songs to me, if that makes sense.
