I don’t think Phil is REALLY a white supremacist. I think he just got drunk and said something stupid on stage. He’s done it his whole career. Regardless, he very well may be the greatest metal frontman alive at this point.

The only good stuff he's done is Pantera and Down. The rest blows.... imo of course. To me this sounds like just a bunch of randomly thrown together noise with little to no melody or song structure whatsoever. About the equivalent of listening to a band do covers of dial-up modem  sounds.

"Hanging" would be used in the same way.

I love all of Phils stuff. Pantera, Down, Superjoint, Scour, even the first Illegals album was decent i thought. But Jesus Christ what the fuck is this Phil? This shit fucking sucks ass through a straw. May as well record audio of someone throwing instruments down a flight of stairs, then record half assed vocals over it. What a let down. Hope En Minor turns out to be better than whatever this was supposed to be

He said himself that a lot of people would hate this album, its clearly not for everyone. Its not something I would just put on and listen to for enjoyment, but I think I understand where he was coming from when he wrote this album. The first Illegals album sounded like a heavier, more pissed off Pantera. At least I thought so. This one is a different animal. Very grind and noise oriented. But the lyrics are incredible.

I think he is trying to explain that Phil probably is not racist because he spends a lot of time with Mexicans. If he was racist then he would not spend time with people of other races. I hope that can clear it up even more if you need it haha

I can't think of any singer that's really lost it as much as phil. The last two down albums I thought were disappointing but alright

 

pantera and early down are legendary....superjoint wasn't really my thing. Sounds like he doesn't even try anymore. Listened to the single in the OP post, wasn't doing much for me, is the album any better?
