I voted for Sufferer!

Other great albums of the month that I really enjoyed are: Celeste, Nothing More, Arcane Roots, Counterparts, END, Galantis, Seaway, Adventurer, Comeback Kid, Arkaik, etc.

Needless to say this previous month was packed full of great albums. Here's to hoping that October will be just as great!!

Voted for Septicflesh because of reasons but september was FULL of some amazing releases to be honest such as Cradle Of Filth (which leaked a few months ago), Kublai Khan, Across The Atlantic, End, Adventurer, Uniones, Dawn Ray'd, Left To Drown, Counterparts, Archspire, King Parrot and of course fucking Celeste.

Guess I'll vote Sufferer because they need more attention because of how impressive the debut LP is, the topics it goes for and because of the thing they're doing by selling it.

Other than that plenty good releases but my next favorite would be Waiting For Morning To Come by BAAO, it's flawed and some creative decisions are questionable but holy shit most of it is so ingrained in my brain since the start of September and I can't stop listening to it.

Counterparts for me, followed closely by Seaway and Novelists!

Protosequence was my EP of the month =]

October is difficult to choose already between ABR and TBDM, plus I'm pretty certain VOM, STYG, and Knucklepuck are all going to kill it... what a time to be alive =p

Sufferer has to take this. Usually supergroups put out a generic record that's just all the bands' blended sounds, but Sufferer is so different, and an experience really. The record does so well encapsulating the different feelings of anxiety, depression, suicide, loneliness, etc. Really meaningful themes and refreshing songs that will hopefully shape the genre for years to come.

Also, this was mentioned above, but where is Caligula's Horse? In Contact is second for me. Pre ordered that bad boy the second I heard the second single and its really incredible.

Had pretty high hopes for Enter Shikari and Circa Survive, but both albums were really disappointing and forgettable.

With All Their Might by Dyscarnate is the death metal album of the year, and i'm sad that is not even on the list, but Sufferer was a nice surprise to me and it hits really hard, beautiful record and the best of September for sure.

Good mentions go to Archspire, Arkaik, Nothing but Thieves and The Killers

...and i was kinda dissapointed with Enter Shikari, Circa Survive and Foo Fighters with really meh releases.

Idk about you guys, but the new Nothing More album is probably the most vocally impressive album I have heard in a LONG TIME.
